We’re bringing chess back to Pembrokeshire for all ages and abilities. After years of decline, chess participation is on the rise with new clubs opening across the county:
Fishguard Chess Club – The first new club. Opened May 25. 50+ members.
Haverfordwest Chess Club – The Second. Opened Oct 25. Already in a bigger venue
Narberth Chess Club – The Third. Opened Feb 26. Growing rapidly.
Tenby Chess Club – The Fourth. Opened 14th April.
Four more clubs are planned this year, putting Pembrokeshire chess firmly back on the map.
Whether you want to join a club, play a few friendly games, or volunteer to help set up new clubs, you’re always welcome.
